First one is a dialogue between Vivi and a "Puppet Mage" in the hidden village of black mage (Black Mage Village). Vivi asked if the doll actually have a feeling like fears or not, and the doll said that after he saw one of them have "stopped moving", he didn't want to stop moving either. These puppet were made with a mist, that basically didn't have feelings, but they actually have a fear of death when they saw one of them died. This is remind me of myself, I also have a feeling the fear of death, but I know that I can't run away from it and I don't want to "stop" myself either.
This is the scene where Zidane and Garnet or Dagger talking about one of the famous theater play in the game "I want to be your canary" one of the character said "Why are you coming with me?" This is the same question Dagger asked and that is Zidane's answer. I, once have a relationship with a girl on a long distance but it's already broken. This line is so relatable with my feelings to my ex. I still have this feeling, I don't want to go anywhere, finding new love or something like that. Because I really love that person and means a lot to me. But yeah, I don't know where that person is right now. If destiny somehow reunite us once again, I'll definitely try my best to take care of that person once again.
This is where Vivi worrying about his life. He can't find a purpose in his life, but Zidane come in and told Vivi that he doesn't have to become someone else, he just need to believe himself that he have to make a choice in life. That line also opened my eyes, that in this life it's full of choices. It's either do or don't, the choice I made I have to be prepared of what would happen if I made that choice.
This is when Dagger opened Mognet and read a letter from a Moogle about love. Nazna response is just like me when I broke up with my ex, I feel like I don't have a feeling of love to someone else anymore and it's just not worth in my life without my ex...
This is the scene before the final battle. The creature that can be called Necron, it represent itself as death. Necron said this line as he describe what death is to Zidane. This is a cycle of life described by Necron, Necron wants to end it by causing a total destruction to the planet. The suffering that begins with anxiety which is really happening in real life. This quote is really hit hard with fact about real life, but the destruction isn't the way to change it. I believe that people can change if they want to or by giving them a second chance.
Those are the some of many quotes in Final Fantasy 9 I really like the most and can relate to it. Which one is your favorite?
